I'm a good helper

Mommy says I am a good helper. I like to take care of the baby. I keep him company and sing to him. I also throw his dirty diapers over the gate into the kitchen.
I don't like when he cries. I can hear him before Mommy does when he's in his bed. This time I tried to make him stop crying by letting him play with my Pirate Uniqua but he didn't know how to make her sing.
Since I help out so much, sometimes I think I deserve a reward - like getting a sip of his formula - Mmmmmm.

Something Weird

Man, last week was the weirdest week ever. First Mommy went away and was gone for days. And, sometimes Daddy would leave for awhile too. When Mommy came back, she brought a baby with her. He's kind of soft and squishy and he cries and Mommy has to hold him a lot. He smells nice though and I like to kiss him but sometimes they try to make me stop and tell me I have to touch him softly. He gets to have a bottle and I like to try and taste it too. I like to help Mommy change his diapers. Sometimes I like to have the baby around and sometimes he makes me freak out a little. I guess he's ok but I wish we could play together instead of just having to look at him.

Busy Day

I had a busy day yesterday. Grandma Russell is staying with us until the baby comes. (I don't know what they're talking about - I'm already here.) And we went shopping. I got some new shoes. I tried to put a few more shoes in the cart but Mommy kept taking them out. We went to Cici's for lunch and I ate hamburger off of Mommy's pizza - she had to keep going back for more because that hamburger was very good. We went to Daddy's store and he yelled at me for touching the windows. We went to Sam's and they had some great samples for us to try - I really liked the green tea and the cheesecake. Then we got home and Grandma & Grandpa Koehler came over too. There were "Ma-Ma's" all over the place! Grandpa got the lawn mower running and he mowed the side yard for Mommy. Hayden didn't get the door shut all the way so I went out to help Grandpa. I skinned my leg a little on the porch steps. Mommy saw me out the kitchen window just before I got to him. But Grandpa saw me too and he stopped the mower. Mommy looked kind of worried but I was just going to help. It was such a fun day I didn't want to go to sleep that night. But I'm still up bright and early this morning!

Keeping Cool

I have found a new favorite place. Sometimes there is cold air that blows out of here. It feels really good. I like to talk to whoever is making that cold air. I tell them to keep it coming. I also like to give them presents of pieces of paper and cereal and small cars. Mommy keeps telling me "NO" when she sees me put something in there but she doesn't always catch me!

Hunter's Birthday Party

My cousin Hunter is 9 years old now. This was his party at "Mama's House". They had me tied into that chair with a towel. Isn't that mean? Just because I kept climbing up it. And they moved the cake far away from me. I only grabbed one cookie off of it. And, why didn't they wash my face first? I look like a dork with lasagna all over me. But it was REALLY GOOD!

New Words

When Hayden goes to school in the morning, I let Mommy know by telling her "Hayden cool" about 50 times so she doesn't forget. Today I found a toy "nake" (snake) on my floor and it says "Shhh, shhh." And those things that fly around outside are "Ish" (fish) - Mommy says they are birds but I can't say that. Yet.

Yesterday I told Mommy all morning that I wanted to go to "Mama's house" but she thought I was talking about her. It took her a long time to figure out I meant Grandma's house. I can say "Peggi" too and "Hunter" but Camden is kind of hard.

Yucky

I have a new saying, "Ewwwww, gucky, gucky!" Mommy thinks it's funny when I say it because I also make a face to go with it. She's going to try to get it on tape and see if she can put it on my site.
